There isn’t one person who does not know someone who’d been sexually abused, assaulted, raped. Not one. Yet, many of us stay silent when it happens to us. For all sorts of reasons. Shame, fear of not being believed, fear of much worse. We created this space for those who wish to share their stories. You may choose to remain anonymous. You may share or not whatever details you like. This is your space. We’ll never out anyone who contributes. But we do encourage everyone who stumbles on it to share these stories with others. Use the #MeToo and #WhyIDidntReport hashtags on twitter and elsewhere. And most importantly, you are not alone. Far from it. And we’re grateful in advance for the courage, the bravery it takes to speak out.
